Freeze, Eddie

He earned four letters in basketball at Rogers, averaging 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game during his last three seasons. Selected AII¬County, All District, and All¬State. In baseball he had a .385 batting average for four years and had a 25-3 record as a pitcher in high school. He averaged 19.8 points per game as freshman and sophomore at Northwest Junior College. He played his final two years in college for Bill Jones at Montevallo, averaging 12.5 points per game. He also played on the first baseball team at Montevallo and was 10- 3 as a starter and had six saves in only one year.
