Bowens, Tim

Brooks

An all-state performer at Brooks High School in 1995 and played at the University of Alabama 1996-1999. He was an all-area and all-state selection at Brooks, being used by the Lions in several ways both on offense and defense. He started seven games for the Tide and finished with 24 catches for 324 yards. He played in three bowl games and three SEC championship games at Alabama. He served as offensive coordinator at Coffee for two seasons before becoming head coach at Tanner in 2004, leading the Rattlers to the playoffs. He coached receivers at Alabama in 2006 and handled other administrative duties. He joined the UAB coaching staff in 2007.
