Mars Hill
She competed in basketball, soccer, track and cross country for Mars Hill Bible School 1995 through 1999 seasons. Her soccer career is highlighted by Birmingham News All-State Second team recognition. The 1998 cross country team co-captained by Berry finished third in the state meet. She was part of state championship track teams in 1996 (1A) and 1999 (2A). She added state records in three events to embellish state championships and her records in the 2A 400 meter dash and 2A high jump events still stand. Mars Hill Bible School retired her track jersey. Berry was part of the 1A basketball state championship team in 1996. For her career she scored 1,846 points which currently holds the number three spot for Mars Hill Bible School career scorers. She recorded 1,189 rebounds which is the most in Mars Hill Bible School history. Culminating her high school athletic achievements she received the Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete Award for Region 8 as a senior. Her excellence in basketball earned a full scholarship to Harding University for four years where she started all games as a junior and senior averaging 8.8 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game until a career-ending injury in her senior season. She was named to the Gulf South Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll.
